23 July 2008: All done!

Finally I sent my phone for servicing. Stupid phone. Currently using a Motorola RAZR V9.

Super slim! But messaging is difficult for me. Cant wait for my Sony Ericsson phone to be available to SingTel, even though StarHub has a better price plan.

Finally I manage to secure the marketing job here!

Went to meet the director yesterday. She's super hot. Even the recep looks like a female actress in You don't mess with the Zohan.

Okay so I'm done with these 2. What's left?
1. Buy bed sheets from Ikea
2. Buy materials for SP - Friday
3. Register for Oweek - Friday
4. Return Marketing file - Friday

Off to Ikea now!

17 July 2008: Marketing?

I was introduced to a job as a part-time marketer a few days ago. Flexible time, work from home, pays reasonably. Best of all, it's not a routine job. It's part of the creative industry (won't put me to sleep). And so...I accepted it!

Back-tracking, I tried to make rosti last night and it ended up like a potato cake. Guess I boiled the potatoes for too long, and the grinder was too small. The sour cream tasted a little like yogurt too. But it's okay, Marche this Saturday!

Now off to wrap Jess's present!

12 July 2008: I hate Nokia!

My Nokia phone sucks.

1) Message sending fails 100 times a day.
2) My calls get cut off 100 times a day too.
3) The phone shuts off by itself once or twice a day.
4) Reception sucks.

Confirm is the phone's problem. Didn't happen when I use dad's samsung.

Super irritating! Especially when I'm trying to send messages and make calls. I repaired it before but the problems seem to persist. If I'm rich I'll definitely smash my phone into the wall. Piece of shit.

I'm so going to get a Sony Ericsson. But the problem is, which one?

04 July 2008: Intellectual games.

Spent the morning giving tuition, losing my patience and heaving a sigh of relief when the clock struck 11. Another day of tuition had passed.

Went home for a change of clothes and left hurriedly to meet BH, Xuan and Jess at (supposedly) 1230pm. To my surprise (horror) all of us were late, especially Jess (supposed to meet at her house) and Xuan.

Stepped into her house with BH first, entertained ourselves, and even told the maid to cook Xuan's Mee Goreng later cause we thought it was for one of us.

We played Bridge, Mahjong and Bridge again, where BH got bored after a few rounds of Bridge and after her heavenly twins (lucky her). Jess tried to do the heavenly twins too, but didn't succeed. The poor girl won about 1 or 2 matches only. Haha.

Left her place when Xuan wanted to leave. The day ended with BH and me trying to flag for a cab, with Jess accompanying us, for about 25 minutes, and BH backing out on the cab ride when the cab arrived.

Tomorow would either be Marche day again or whip-up chinese food day.

02 July 2008: Marche.

Slacking the whole day, exploring LiveJournal layouts and Photoshop. Was quite amazed at what Photoshop could do, especially at slimming. I had to try it out on some familiar one's photo. Sent the product over to a few privileged ones. For the non-privileged ones, here's a photo edit by yours truly of a random plus-sized model found online.

I'll never believe in slimming success stories on advertisements anymore.

Rewinding, Monday evening I went to meet HC at Harbourfront. He made about $800 in less than a day. $180 goes to a present for me. Haha. Had dinner at Marche. Shiok!

Tuesday HC and me made lunch for his family. Hamburgers, mash potatos in mushroom gravy and hashbrowns.
